Large print books are easy to read.  You can find them in any and all genres you desire.  There are many different sizes of large print books including Braille and DAISY for people with visual impairments.  From classics to current New York Times Best Sellers, and everything in between, you can find your favorite large print books online.  Most large print books are published simultaneously with regular print editions.  Most large print books even have the same full color jackets as the regular edition.

Technology in Support of Graceful Aging Ronald Baecker Professor, University of Toronto November 4, 2011 Abstract The percentage of senior citizens worldwide continues to grow. In response to this demographic, our research aims to envision, prototype, design, build, evaluate, and sometimes commercialize powerful and flexible electronic aids to support graceful aging. Unlike technology for seniors that is designed for remote monitoring, problem detection, and intelligent assistance, our aim is to empower older adults and their families to help themselves. TAGlab conducts “research for the journey through life.” We choose projects that respond to human needs as characterized by Abraham Maslow. Maslow speaks of the following levels of needs: physiological, safety, love/ belonging, esteem, and self-actualization. Our work is primarily at the top three levels. We shall begin at top-level by reporting on projects that employ multimedia and other lifelogging technologies to help individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and mild cognitive impairment be better able to remember and reminisce about experiences over a lifetime or about recent events and activities. The instrument started out as a circle, then opened up and created a loud sound as it made a drawing in space, and finally fell to the ground as a line. The work was titled One Second Sculpture, and it demonstrated several principles of Conceptual Art. This type of art was new at the time but has now become a major influence on artists and on our society. A principle demonstrated by “One Second Sculpture” is that duration can be an element in art. Another is that the lasting form of an artwork is created and later re-created in the viewer’s mind. And a third principle is that elements other than the visual (in this case, sound) may be part of the form of an artwork. Here’s a version of a large scale Vintage Penguin Book on canvas that costs less than to make. The version I painted is 30×40 inches, however, you could scale those assets up or down for the right size painting.

In this video I went to the beach and took along the camera with me to get some footage. Its pretty random but entertaining=) I also go to a huge building called the Revel that is breathtaking!
